This Laser Printers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Oustanding MFP Color LASER for a great price
OK I have to brag, had a friend at Dell give me a 17% off discount when I ordered my computer system. Then he emails me a 30% off coupon for a printer and asked if I needed one. Wasn't planning on getting a printer, but with that discount I had to see what was available. When I saw the 30% was ADDED to the 17% system discount I had to jump on it. Bottomline it cost me $380! LOL

It's pretty new but I managed to find one review to make sure it was good before I bought it. Am I Glad I did. Just found another review at MacWorld that placed it second to the $800 Xerox, basically because the Xerox is more quiet.

Even at the regular price of $650 it's a great buy. Manufacturers are notorious for BS on their print speeds, but this thing smokes! It's very close to the 23 ppm advertised speed, but what's really amazing is how quick it spits out the first page.

The important part, flash and features aside, the print quality on black and white text is...

2. Why doesn't everyone have one?
I'm a computer professional running a small business. I've had this printer for about a year now, and have run several thousand sheets of paper through it. It is hard to see why anyone would look elsewhere for a printer.

There are four models 2150 is printer only, 2155 includes scanner. cn is single sided, cdn includes duplexer. This is about my 2155cdn, but should apply to others. The printer is fast. It is high quality. It is designed for heavy use. The duplexer makes double sided printing a breeze. Toner replacements are a bit costly, but last a long time, so aren't really expensive. Each color is individually replaceable. The quality is good enough that we print our Christmas letter on it, which is mostly photos. No, it's not competition for a true photo quality printer on glossy paper, but its close enough to be tempting, and stands up to abuse (such as water) much better. I rarely turn on my photo printer any more. Scanning and FAXing are simple and work...

Dell 2155cn: The BEST Ever...No question!
We ordered this item from Amazon with a quick delivery and have used this printer for three months now and we all agree that THIS IS THE BEST SMALL OFFICE/HOME PRINTER EVER...that's right...EVER! If you have had it with the unreliability of ink jets, and the price of ink, and finding that it is less expensive to buy a whole new inkjet printer than to buy just the multiple ink cartridges, and the pain of finding that if you try to conserve and not use the ink jet ink then it dries out and is lost any way, and running to the store every week or two when you are out of ink because then ink jets don't hold squat in amount...then...stop the aggravation and buy the Dell 2155cn.

You will wonder why you didn't make this move a long time ago! This printer is super reliable, faster than any of our previous ink jets, makes perfect copies, easy scans, and a myriad of other functions. We have printed a thousand pages and can't tell that any of the laser ink cartridge has been...
