This Laser Printers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Very good for regular stock paper...
I've had the 5670EN for about 4 months now and bought it to support my wife's wedding invitation business. She typically prints 100-600 sheets per month on a variety of paper thicknesses up to 80lb cover stock. The ink jets were just killing us on cost, going through several hundred dollars a month in ink. But the Canon MX420 handled thick paper with no issues and had good quality prints. So I ordered the Konica Minolta to help save some money on printing. It arrived and was very big and heavy which was expected. I assembled everything and used the side loader to try a thicker stock. The fuser will not produce enough heat to work on thick stock such as 80lb cover (216gsm). In fact, it won't even print well on the stated max thickness (210gsm I think), my guess is because it is not as smooth. So the manual feeder is basically worthless to us.

The reason I still am giving this printer 4 stars is it work very well and is very inexpensive for regular thickness paper...

2. Great colors - lots of problems
original of 5 stars. updated to 2. ----I run a custom printing business and it took me a while to get used to this. This has so many options it took a lot of trial and error to get all of my colors just right. It also printed too bright (looked washed out), luckily you can even adjust the brightness and contrast by 15% each, so I set bright to -15%.

This prints true to color and the best color I've seen from a printer.

~update, starter toner lasted 3500 pages, found the sheet that said it was estimated at 6k, so seeing as i use 30% coverage (according to stats page) that's pretty good.

update 10-29-12: this printer isn't worth it. one problem after another. tech support is pretty good, but don't follow up on problems. so when the problem persists you have to wait on hold again, or if the tech person never shows up after a week you have to call again.
my first major problem was 1.5 months after...

Need more appointment... ?

Great output, the toner is a bit expensive, but I have been using the Konica type instead of the cheaper "compatible" type. Very fast printing and pretty much perfect color output. The toner and processing units are extremely easy to replace and I haven't had any issues. The waste container seems to get full pretty fast, but they can be emptied out and a new one is pretty cheap (I rotate between three of them). So if you want some professional looking printouts, this is a good printer, I have had it for about 7 months and we have several people that use it all day long and it still seems to be a pretty solid printer.
