This Laser Printers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. beautiful and fast...
Are you shocked by the price of this printer? I was, and in fact was sceptical enough to go to the Canon technical website to find out "what's the catch?". I found there was no catch. This printer uses the same X25 toner cartridge, and has the same output specs, as the highly-ranked Canon MF5550 (see the review in PC Magazine, August 2004). I surmised the two printers share the same "engine". So I bought the MF3110, despite the suspiciously low price. And now I'm very happy -- this is the real McCoy! The print quality matches any laser printer you've ever used, and the machine is FAST -- earlier today I queued up a 36 page print job (a PDF of a US Patent) and it was done by the time I had made a cup of tea in the microwave.

The scanner and copier functions work fine. The scanner is 1200x2400 optical, 9600x9600 interpolated (who needs 9600 DPI??!!), with 48-bit color depth.

The negatives? The bundled OmniPage OCR software is a stripped down version. It...

2. 5 star is for perfect - and nothing is !
I read and researched ALL sorts of laser printers (didnt include Canon) and then went into officedepot to buy a Brother. and then saw this pretty looking Canon. i looked and looked again and then again. and did not find a catch either. A very well designed printer that looks good and performs beautifully. It uses the X25 cartridge (combo) unit which is rated for about 2500 pages and costs about 50 dollars, giving a per page cost of 2 cents - pretty good i'd say. Setup was pretty easy - no complicated hoops to jump through. And once the software is setup, you just sit back and enjoy ! Very short warm-up time (about 3-5 seconds i'd say). And although it makes as much noise as any other laser printer i've seen, print speed is pretty fast. The print quality is very good, very sharp and crisp prints - THE reason i wanted a laser printer.

Printer paper output tray is located in the middle of the body making it easy to retrieve printed copies. A nice touch is the fact that the...

Great product that lives up to its specs!
The Canon ImageCLASS MF3110 Laser Multifunction printer proudly stands a-top our desk, looking right at us, smiling, and with its tongue sticking out. Once you purchase one and set it up, you will understand what I mean (Just look right at it). This laser printer is ready for action the moment you set it up. The warmup time is outstanding (3 - 5 seconds max). I do not wait for it; it waits for me. The text is sharp and crisp on this blue and white monster. Compared to its competition of quality, the MF3110 is compact in size. Although you may find some that are smaller, you will not get the same performance in quality. This monster gives you 21PPM, 1200X600 DPI print, 1200x2400 DPI scan, and it lifts up from the hinges making it easier to copy pages from a book all for a reasonable price. To top it all off, this printer actually comes with a USB Cable. There are many other less important features that I enjoy, however I will conclude.

In conclusion, I had no...
